Custom Tiered Wedding Cakes

Custom Tiered Wedding Cakes come with several "extras", such as:
- Consultation (usually in-person but can be done by phone)
- Box of take-home cake samples
- Fresh flowers (seasonally available)
- Tall elegant tiers including custom shapes and sizes
- Custom design to suit your needs.  
 

PRICING
Custom Tiered Wedding Cakes start at $390 for 30 servings, but the final cost will depend on the number of servings and the complexity of the design. We offer tiered cakes to feed 30 to 75. (If you need more servings, you can fill in the additional servings needed with side cakes.)

DESIGNS
We offer a wide variety of designs but we welcome the opportunity to create something just for you! We encourage you to send us ideas in the form of photos, sketches, color swatches or other images, and we will work together to create something special. You can take a look at our photo gallery to see just a small selection of previous cakes, for inspiration!

Tiered cakes will have buttercream, ganache, or fondant (with a buttercream base) frosting on the outside. We cannot use whipped cream or cream cheese for the frosting.

DELIVERY
Delivery & set-up is $40 for the first 10 miles, and $3 per mile for each additional mile, up to 50 miles one way.  (We do not stay to cut & serve, that is usually done by your caterer or venue.) Delivery includes setting up your cake, and any other desserts that you have ordered from us. We will figure out the best delivery window based on your ceremony and timeline.

If delivery is not an option, you can always schedule a pick-up! We take care to box the cake properly and give you tips on how to travel with a tiered cake to help you travel with the cake safely.
 
FLOWERS
We include up to $25 worth of local and seasonally available fresh flowers from April through September. (October through March there may be $25 floral fee, depending on availability.) We are also happy to work with your florist if you have specific flowers you'd like us to use for your cake. 

CONSULTATIONS*
To schedule your consultation*, please give us a call. There is an $80 fee, paid in advance, to secure the consultation.  (The fee is credited towards a Custom Tiered Cake.) At the consultation, you'll get to sit down with one of our cake designers to discuss the details and different options for your event.
 
You'll be given your cake samples (that you've ordered with your choices) to take home and eat at your leisure. When you put down your deposit on the Tiered Wedding Cake, we take that $80 right off of the balance, making your consultation and samples free!

DEPOSIT
To secure the date for a Custom Tiered Cake, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The deposit is based on your estimate, but the balance may change if you make adjustments. The balance (along with all the other details such as flavors, design, and flowers) is due two weeks before the event date. We recommend securing the date at least 2 months in advance as we can book up for some dates.

SAMPLES
We include a box of cake samples with your Custom Tiered Wedding Cake, and it comes with four flavors that you choose from our Tiered Cake Flavors. We do offer gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free options. Most folks will pick up their sample box at the end of their consultation, but you can order one for a different day if you prefer.​

If you prefer to meet in person, we ask that you are either vaccinated -or- masked. Or we can schedule a phone consultation, and you can pick up samples from our café. Let us know what you need!

Masks are no longer required to enter our store and our office where we meet for consults.
We have a small meeting space so we ask that you limit your party to three people total (all must be vaccinated -or- masked).
