About our products
Our baked goods are handmade from scratch and contain the finest quality ingredients available. We use Guittard chocolate, rBGH-free dairy, natural flavorings, fair-trade and pesticide-free real vanilla, trans-fat-free non-GMO organic shortening and expeller-pressed oil, organic wheat and spelt flours, and other selected organically and locally grown ingredients.

Special order cake decoration
We decorate our special order desserts with sugar flowers, ribbon and any writing. If you would like artwork or a special design, we charge extra based on the amount of time the design takes. We have a book of special occasion cake designs which you can view at our retail location.

ALTERNATIVES:
If you have a severe food allergy, (dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, corn, chocolate or nuts) please be aware that we use these products in our facility. Since we use the same equipment for making our products, we take great care to clean equipment and surfaces between uses, but cannot guarantee the absence of these allergens in any alternatively made dessert.
Animal-product-free
We can make many of our desserts without eggs, dairy or animal products (look for the ). Although our primary sugar is White Satin beet sugar (vegan), we do not use the term “vegan” to describe these pastries because the processing method for sugar contained in other ingredients we use is unknown.
Wheat-free cakes
We can make any of our cakes using spelt flour for $5-8 extra.
Gluten-free cakes
We can make the following cakes gluten-free (with potato starch, tapioca, fava flour, sorghum flour, garbanzo flour, xanthan gum, and corn starch) for $5-8 extra: chocolate, vanilla, poppy seed or any variation of pound cake. All our fillings and frostings are gluten-free except vanilla and coconut custards.

Alternative sweeteners  We can make certain cakes with honey crystals, sucanat.
